Storing Silk Sarees: Do's and Don'ts

Don't ruin your silk sarees by storing them wrong.

Do

Wrap in muslin cloth. Store flat, not folded sharply. Air them once every 3-6 months.

Don't

Plastic bags trap moisture. Direct sunlight fades dyes. Folded sharply, the silk weakens at the fold.
